Recipe Spotlight: Sea Salt Caramel 


Here are a few ways to enjoy our newest Flavor Boost, Sea Salt Caramel. Enjoy!


Sea Salt Caramel Protein Waffle Bites

INGREDIENTS:

1 scoop Gainful Personalized Protein 

1 Sea Salt Caramel Flavor Boost

? cup flour (any will work besides coconut, customize to your preference!)

½ tsp baking soda

1 egg

½ cup milk of choice

1 banana, sliced

5 oz yogurt of choice (optional)

1 tbsp almond butter (optional)


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl, and then add wet ingredients.

  2. Pour ½ of the batter into a preheated and greased waffle iron. Once done, pour the second ½ into your waffle iron to make 2 mini waffles. 

  3. Cut each waffle into 4 pieces to create the waffle bites.

  4. Make the optional yogurt dip by stirring the yogurt and almond butter.

Top with sliced banana and serve with an optional yogurt dip. Don’t forget the maple syrup!


Dulce de Leche Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS:

1 scoop Gainful Personalized Protein 

1 Sea Salt Caramel Flavor Boost

½ cup old fashioned oats 

1 tbsp chia seeds

¾ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk 

Topping:

Diced apples

2 tsp dulce de leche (can be found at your local supermarket in the baking aisle)

*substitute -  store bought caramel sauce


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Add the oats,chia seeds, Gainful Personalized Protein, Sea Salt Caramel Flavor Boost and unsweetened almond milk to a mason jar.

  2. Stir well, screw the lid on and store in the fridge overnight. 

  3. When ready to eat the next day, top with the apples and take 1 tsp of dulce de leche and thin it out with 1 tsp of almond milk and drizzle over the apples.  Enjoy!
