5 Things to Consider When Starting Your Gainful Journey


There can be a lot to consider when starting a new routine and working towards a healthier lifestyle. From adding supplements into your daily routine to setting realistic goals for yourself, our team of Registered Dietitians put together a list of 5 things to keep in mind when starting your Gainful journey.


#1 Your overall diet and lifestyle are still very important


Your Gainful system can be a helpful part of your lifestyle and goals. However, by itself, it should not be relied on too heavily. The rest of your eating habits, activity level, sleep, etc. are all extremely important for reaching your goals. When paired along with healthy choices and changes in your routine, your Gainful products can give you the extra assistance to see the results you are looking for. 


#2 Focus on consistency via incremental changes over time


Consistency is going to be one of the most important parts of your journey. Things don’t have to be perfect, but focusing on good habits and lifestyle changes on a regular basis is key. Try to pinpoint small and realistic adjustments you can make within your normal routine. After doing so, implement the changes and give yourself some time to get used to them. 


#3 Look at more than just the scale


The scale can be a good long term measure of progress, but often is not the only thing that you should look at. Especially if you are trying to focus on body recomposition, it’s just as important to look at the differences you see in the mirror, with how your clothes fit, your energy, strength, and body measurements. Your weight on the scale can fluctuate daily and weekly due to many different reasons - it doesn’t always mean that you are actually gaining or losing weight. 


#4 Be patient when looking for results


Regardless of your goal, results take time! Trying to rush things usually won’t end up in your favor. We all would probably like to see results sooner than later, but it takes some patience. This is why having a sustainable routine is so important, so that you can stick with things and enjoy the journey. Give yourself at least a couple or few weeks of good habits to start noticing changes.
