Halloween-Inspired Recipe Round-Up



With Halloween around the corner, we’re dreaming up all the ways that we can satisfy our sweet tooth while staying on track with our goals. Thanks to a few of our favorite foodies in our #TeamGainful community, this bag of sweets is filled with all treats and no tricks. Read on to save our favorite sweet protein recipes perfect for this season.


Chocolate Protein Donuts


INGREDIENTS 

1 scoop Gainful Personalized Protein Powder

1 Rich Chocolate Flavor Boost

¼ cup cocoa powder 

¾ cup oat flour 

1/4 cup organic pumpkin OR ¼ cup apple sauce

2 eggs

3 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp baking powder

Optional: 

1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 

  2. Drop dry ingredients into bowl. Mix well. 

  3. Drop in wet ingredients. Stir! 

  4. Pour batter into greased donut pan. 

  5. Bake 10-12 minutes. 

  6. Make frosting: 1-2 scoops of Gainful Personalized Protein + 1/3 cup water. Frost donuts, and add desired toppings! 

 

Indulgent Cookies and Cream Smoothie



INGREDIENTS 

1 scoop Gainful Personalized Protein

1 Cookies and Cream Flavor Boost

2 bananas, frozen

3 oreos

¼ cup light coconut milk

DIRECTIONS 

Blend all ingredients in a blender and pour into a glass of choice. Feel free to top with whipped cream and oreo cookie crumble!

 

Single Serving Funfetti Mug Cake

INGREDIENTS 

1 scoop Gainful Personalized Protein

1 Madagascar Vanilla Flavor Boost

2 tbsp self rising (SR) flour

2 tbsp milk 

1 oz greek yogurt

Sprinkles 

Whipped cream {optional}

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix together Gainful Personalized Protein, Madagascar Vanilla Flavor Boost, self rising (SR) flour, milk, and greek yogurt.

  2. Top with sprinkles

  3. Microwave for 2 minutes. 

  4. Top with whipped cream
